Srinagar, May 13 (KNO): A youth has been critically injured during massive clashes with government forces that erupted in Chenabal area of Mirgund in Baramulla district. An official told KNO that the youth had blocked the Baramulla Srinagar highway and staged a protest against the rape of minor in Sumbal area of Bandipora. The protestors were demanding stern punishment for the rape accused. However, the forced deployed in the area have tried to pacify the protesting youth which triggered massive clashes in the area. "Scores of youth were injured but one of them sustained head injury and is critical,"the official told KNO. He identified the critically injured youth as Arshad Ahmad Dar. (KNO).
